The therapist provides clinical counseling services to children, adults, and families in various community settings including homes and schools. They are responsible for conducting diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining professional case records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology, with a preference for clinical licensure. The role requires strong organizational skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
POSTION SUMMARY Responsible for providing counseling and other clinical services to children, adults, couples and families in their natural environment.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Must possess the experience, personal qualities and practice skills to work effectively with professionals in other organizations and from other disciplines and to provide services in a manner that reflects understanding and appreciation of multiculturalism. Must possess and retain a valid driver's license. Must possess and retain proof of auto insurance. DCFS/CANTS Clearance. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program, or in a related human service field; strong preference for License in Clinical Social Work or Licensed Clinical Professional Counseling. The ability and willingness to actively participate in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment. Knowledge of evidence-based practices and a variety of treatment modalities used with the population(s) served.
