Candidates must hold a valid Pennsylvania LPN or RN license and possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record. The role requires flexibility to work 24/7 shifts and the ability to maintain a safe environment for clients.
Alpine Springs Addiction Treatment is seeking LPN or RN candidates for a full-time Nurse position at our facility located in Linesville, PA.
Alpine Springs Addiction Treatment is a drug and alcohol recovery center located in Greenville (Withdrawal Management/ Detox) and Linesville (Clinically Managed residential), PA that offers individualized treatment using evidence-based practices to those struggling with addiction to leave our facility with the coping skills and knowledge to live a better, healthier lifestyle. To meet the needs of our clients, our treatment facility is open 24/7.

Position’s Scope The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) provides the day-to-day nursing care of the clients and ensures their safe care throughout the withdrawal management process according to Alpine Springs policies and procedures, federal and state laws and regulations, the PA Health Department, DDAP and CARF standards.
Works collaboratively with the Lead Nurse and the Medical Director to accomplish all departmental goals. Manage and order nursing supplies. Monitor clients’ medications. Maintain records and reports including documenting progress of detox clients. Monitor clients to ensure safety. Monitor clients through a safe detox. Maintain a safe environment for storage of narcotics. Ability to conduct alcohol and other drug related ASAM assessments during admission; and on-going. Ability to take doctor’s orders accurately. Ability to administer medications to clients independently. Monitor withdrawal symptoms in detox clients. Monitor confidentiality at all times. Complete inspections of all medical supplies and medications. Maintain and meet Environment of Care standards. Participates in performance management activities including client complaints and incident reporting. Participates in the implementation and maintenance of the CARF standards through scheduled management meetings. Provide direction to nursing staff. Schedule nursing staff appropriately. Ensure Pre-certifications and Insurance Reviews are completed by nursing staff. Occasional travel to the Linesville location will be required. Any duties as assigned are dictated by the needs of the business.
