The Registered Nurse provides specialized care for patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures and manages patients throughout all phases of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. They are responsible for the nursing process and the therapeutic use of instrumentation within the Cardiac Cath Lab environment.
The candidate must be a professional Registered Nurse with expertise in cardiac procedures and patient monitoring. They are expected to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and accountability.
The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who specializes in assisting with invasive cardiac procedures and other procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Position is also responsible for patients in all phases of Cardiopulmonary Rehab. The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility/accountability for patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. Patients in need of heart catheterizations, pacemakers, peripheral vascular studies and intervention as well as Cardiac Rehabilitation.
