The psychiatrist will provide diagnosis and treatment for psychiatric inpatients at the Montana State Hospital. They will also supervise multidisciplinary treatment teams and prepare psychiatric-legal evaluations and reports.
Candidates must have completed formal residency training in psychiatry and be eligible for or hold a medical license in the State of Montana. Board certification in psychiatry is preferred.

Understanding of the use of the common psychotherapeutic agents and of the statutory requirements relating to the practice of medicine. Ability to work comfortably and congenially within a team-oriented work setting. Meet minimum qualifications: Formal residency training as a psychiatrist yielding demonstrated competence in medical treatment. Must be able to become licensed to practice medicine in the State of Montana. Preferably Board Certified in Psychiatry, or eligible for certification.
