The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the maintenance, care, and preparation of all surgical instruments. They ensure that all supplies and instruments are ready for surgery cases while adhering to strict infection control and patient safety standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of sterile processing experience. Completion of a sterile process certification program is preferred, along with knowledge of operating room instrumentation and sterilizer operation.
