The Direct Support Professional provides individualized care to clients by assisting with activities of daily living, administering medications, and supporting personal goals. They also maintain a safe living environment and document daily activities while ensuring client dignity and confidentiality.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. Preferred qualifications include one year of experience in direct support and relevant certifications like First Aid and CPR.
