The Physical Therapist evaluates, administers, and directs therapeutic procedures for patients recovering from injury, disease, or surgery. They are responsible for establishing treatment goals, reassessing patient progress, and maintaining appropriate clinical documentation.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program and possess at least one year of experience. Licensure by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and current BLS certification are required.

Education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program, greater than one year experience as a physical therapist, and licensure as a Physical Therapist by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
