The Cath Lab Technologist assists in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and performs emergency procedures such as IABP and pacemaker insertion. They also participate in NCDR registry reporting, quality initiatives, and patient education while acting as a patient advocate.
Candidates must hold ARRT registry and Ohio Department of Health licensure, along with BLS and ACLS certifications. An associate degree and previous experience in a cardiovascular catheterization lab are preferred.
