The dentist is responsible for providing comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient follow-up. They must also educate patients on treatment options and support the growth and development of the dental team.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited school. A current, active state dental license and completion of a post-doctoral residency program are required.
