The Nurse Practitioner will conduct medical assessments and manage medication-assisted treatments for patients with substance use disorders. They will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans and educate patients on treatment options.
Candidates must hold a current Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina and possess strong clinical and interpersonal skills. Experience in addiction medicine or substance use disorder treatment is preferred.
Conduct thorough medical assessments and evaluations of patients. Prescribe and manage medication-assisted treatments for substance use disorders. Collaborate with counselors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update personalized care plans. Monitor patient progress and make clinical decisions to optimize treatment outcomes. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, medication adherence, and relapse prevention. Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing in North Carolina. Experience in addiction medicine or substance use disorder treatment preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, patient-centered approach. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
