The Physical Therapist Assistant will assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. They are also responsible for overseeing PT Aides and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. An unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license is required to practice.
Assist in evaluation of client’s daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and limitations Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques including exercise Instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and Isokinetic program Observe patients during treatments and reports observations to Physical Therapist Communicate with staff and other health team members, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs
