The technician is responsible for performing cytopreparatory functions and making decisions regarding specimen processing. They report directly to the Cytology Prep Team Leader, Supervisor, or Manager.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Candidates should have or be willing to obtain current state licensure and possess the physical ability to handle specimens in a chemical environment.
$17.75+ per hour
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.
Under general supervision, the position is proficient in all of the functions required of the Assistant Cytopreparatory Technician. They are directly responsible for decision making, interacting, and reporting to the Cytology Prep Team Leader/Supervisor and/or Manager.
