Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care and maintain accurate documentation of patient visits and treatment plans. Facilitate patient care activities and provide guidance to auxiliary dental staff.
Requires graduation from an accredited dental school and a valid Pennsylvania dental license. Must possess current CPR certification and strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
Provide the full scope of dental hygiene care. Offer professional feedback and insight regarding patient care, departmental policies, and organizational procedures as requested. Facilitate, contribute to, and report on activities related to patient care. Organize and ensure continuity of care based on patient needs. Accurately and thoroughly document patient visits and treatment plans. Guide dental assistants as needed and participate in the training of auxiliary dental staff. Perform other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Graduation from an accredited dental school and a valid license to practice dentistry in the state of Pennsylvania. Current CPR Certification Ability to convey information effectively and in a caring and supportive manner with individuals of all backgrounds. Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Customer service oriented – ability to focus on patient care and outcomes. Qualifications
