The therapist provides clinical social work services including psychosocial assessments, individual, group, and family therapy. They also participate in treatment team planning, discharge planning, case management, and crisis intervention.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience in the psychiatric/mental health field and appropriate state licensure are required.
The Therapist provides clinical social work services in designated areas in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Southeast Behavioral Health. The Therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field required.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in psychiatric/mental health field. Prefer candidates with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in advanced clinical/management practice.
