The Medical Director will conduct annual check-ups, evaluate and treat patients for illnesses or injuries, and provide patient education on treatments and lifestyle changes. They will also collaborate with a clinical team to ensure high-quality care and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and possess a valid license in Tennessee with prescriptive authorization. A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience is preferred, along with strong diagnostic and communication skills.
We are looking for a highly qualified Medical Doctor that is willing to work in a fast-paced clinic setting. We offer employer-based health services for patients of all ages. The experienced individual we are searching for would help support our mission statement, “Do Good, Help Others”. Responsibilities Conduct annual check-ups on patients to assess their overall health and wellness Provide patient education on disease processes, recommended treatments, and lifestyle changes to promote overall health Evaluate and treat patients that present with an illness, injury, etc. Order any necessary labs, imaging, or procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating our patients Prescribe medications as indicated. Patient education pertaining to the medication mechanism of action, side effects, and contraindications is expected. Collaborate with other physicians, mid-level providers, and support staff to create a high-functioning team Provide referrals to outside specialties when a higher level of care is deemed necessary Maintain electronic medical records for each patient encounter. Including patient medical/surgical/social history, patient documents, and escribing patient medications Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients Utilize resources to stay up-to-date on evidence-based practice guidelines QualificationsRequirements and skills Proven experience as a physician Strong understanding of examination, methodologies, and diagnostics Broad knowledge of common medications, side effects and contraindications In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and best practices Excellent oral and written communication skills Thorough understanding of HIPPA Respect patient confidentiality Responsible and trustworthy Compassionate and approachable Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) and valid in TN Prescriptive authorization Three (3) years of relevant clinical experience preferred
