The new graduate nurse will participate in a one-year residency program designed to support the transition from academia to professional nursing practice. Responsibilities include providing patient care across various hospital units while focusing on nursing leadership and quality outcomes.
Candidates must be graduating from an accredited School of Nursing by August 2026 and be eligible for a Connecticut State RN license. A BSN is preferred, and current BCLS certification is required within one month of hire.
Bridgeport Hospital is hiring for New Graduate Registered Nurses in various areas of the hospital to start in Spring 2026. Shifts are assigned based on the needs of the hiring unit. To qualify, candidates must have an anticipated graduation date of August 2026.
