The Telemetry Monitor Technician is responsible for the continuous cardiac monitoring of patients and the prompt reporting of any abnormalities or distress. They also provide clerical support and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient unit operations.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and have successfully completed Telemetry/Dysrhythmia training. Strong critical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment are required.

Position Summary: The Telemetry Monitor Technician is responsible for continuous cardiac monitoring of
patients, recognizing and reporting abnormalities, and supporting clinical staff to ensure
safe and efficient unit operations. This role requires strong critical thinking, attention to
detail, and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare
environment.
The Telemetry Monitor Technician reports directly to the unit Nurse Manager or designated supervisor. This role works closely with registered nurses (RNs), physicians, advanced practice providers, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team. The technician collaborates with ICU staff, unit coordinators, and ancillary departments to ensure accurate patient monitoring, timely communication of critical information, and efficient unit operations.
Successful completion of Telemetry/Dysrhythmia training as required by the facility.
