The therapist will conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual and group therapy for military program patients. They will also collaborate with the treatment team to coordinate discharge planning and crisis safety measures.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work or a related mental health field and possess a valid Utah clinical license such as CSW, LCSW, ACMHC, CMHC, AMFT, or LMFT. Additionally, CPR certification and the ability to complete restraint and seclusion training are required.
Salt Lake Behavioral Health is seeking a Full-Time Program Therapist for our Military Programs.
Full-Time, Wednesday - Saturday
As part of the social services team, this is a position that will complete biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, provide individual/group therapy and assist in discharge planning. This position will work collaboratively with the treatment team, families, community resources, and other healthcare providers. Job Essentials: Prioritize daily tasks including new admissions and discharging patients along with seeing patients on given case load. Participate daily in a multi-disciplinary treatment team meeting. Conducts psychosocial assessments, ASAM’s and health disparities form for new admissions. Educate, communicate and coordinate discharge plans with patient’s families and support systems. Provide daily individual therapy along with psychoeducational groups. Complete discharge planning including crisis safety plans, family meetings and discharge summaries. Complete documentation in a timely manner according to the given standards of the hospital.
