The CRNA is responsible for assessing patient status, inducing and maintaining anesthesia, and establishing IV access across Main Line Health sites. They must also ensure accurate documentation, timely communication with attending physicians, and effective transfer of care.
Candidates must hold a valid Pennsylvania RN license and have completed an approved Nurse Anesthesia program with current AANA certification. Proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS is mandatory, along with the ability to perform physical tasks like standing for long periods and moving patient stretchers.
