The pharmacist will provide clinical pharmacy services, including drug information and therapy management for diverse patient populations. They will collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication use, focusing on drug interactions and contraindications.
Candidates must hold a degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy and possess a valid Georgia Pharmacist License. One year of hospital pharmacy experience and familiarity with specialty drugs are preferred.

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy. Georgia Pharmacist License. PREFERRED: One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience. Experience with Specialty Drugs. Good communication skills Work Hours: 6AM-6PM Weekend Requirements: Yes On-Call Requirements: No
