Performs and interprets laboratory tests for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. Ensures all clinical laboratory procedures are implemented according to proper standards and regulations.
Requires a Bachelor's or Associate degree in laboratory science or medical technology along with certification from agencies such as ASCP, NCA, or AMT. Candidates must pass a Color-Acuity screening test.

Performs and interprets laboratory tests in the Clinical Laboratory for the diagnosis and care of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution and applicants must be eligible for an appropriate certification examination. Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW) OR Associates Degree in laboratory science (Chemical or Biological Science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution and certification as a Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW) OR Graduate of a Military Program in Science (health science, biology, chemical, physical, medical technology) and certification as a Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist. 1.Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW) OR Grandfathered Medical Technologist by having previously qualified as a technologist on or before February 28, 1992 and current certification as a Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist. 1. Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW) Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations. Must submit to a Color-Acuity screening Test PREFERRED Experience in a Clinical Laboratory Setting Work Hours: 3:00pm - 11:30pm Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis On-Call Requirements: No
