About the Role

Want to make a difference in children’s lives and in the community? Become a Therapeutic Mentor with Arbour Counseling Services! Our team of Therapeutic Mentors help youth under the age of 21 with mental health or behavioral challenges to develop specific independent life skills as a part of a clinical treatment team. Our Therapeutic Mentors offer structured, one-on-one, strength-based support, modeling and training in age-appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and relating appropriately to other youth or adults, all while doing fun activities in the community! Services can take place in parks, basketball courts, libraries, animal shelters, museums, malls and any other place/activity that may peak the youth’s interest. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge and/or pursue higher education in the field of mental health and social work. Be a part of an experienced, energetic and supportive team. Schedule is flexible depending on your availability and that of the client/family.
