The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the oversight, preparation, and dispensing of patient medication therapy while ensuring compliance with all legal regulations. They also provide drug information and advise physicians on medication utilization to support exceptional patient care.
Candidates must hold a Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy and possess a current registered pharmacist license in the State of Florida. Additionally, a BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire, with hospital experience preferred.
The Staff Pharmacist provide pharmaceutical care services to the patients including, but not limited to oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing and proper documentation of patient medication therapy as well as providing drug information, patient information and oversight of information and dispensing systems.
