The Associate Surgical Podiatrist will examine patients' legs and feet to diagnose diseases, treat disorders, and perform surgical procedures as necessary. They will also provide education and consultation to patients and maintain medical records.
Candidates must have a Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine, a current license in Montana or Wyoming, and board certification through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. A minimum of three years of professional experience is preferred.
We are looking for an Associate Surgical Podiatrist in either Billings or Sheridan. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, comfortable performing surgery as well as doing routine care, with a phenomenal bedside manner who treats our patients with exceptional care.
Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles Perform surgical procedures as necessary along with wound care management as needed Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery Advise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems Provide education/consultation to patients, family, and health care team Provide health promotion and preventive medicine Appropriately maintains medical records on assigned patients

THE SHERIDAN WYOMING OFFICE Our 4,500 sq. ft. facility boasts four treatment rooms, an impressive waiting room, in-office surgical suite, conference room, and management office. We’ve been in the stand-alone 8,000 sq. ft. building since 2001. We are the only podiatry office in town, and we have proudly to served the Sheridan and surrounding communities since 1987.

Minimum of three (3) years professional experience preferred Current License as a Podiatrist in the State of Montana or Wyoming Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an Accredited School of Podiatry Board certification through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery Ability to observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions, and progress Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills that allow effective working relationships with diverse patient, colleague, and vendor populations PC Proficient with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook and EMR database Ability to provide legal proof of eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
