The Nursing Assistant is responsible for checking on residents to ensure their personal care needs are met and assisting with daily routines and activities. They must also communicate changes in resident conditions to the nursing staff and maintain a calm, supportive environment.
Candidates must have completed a Nursing Assistant class and be in the process of obtaining certification, with a minimum of a 10th-grade education. Additionally, applicants must hold an active CPR/BLS certification and be fluent in English.
