The Core Technician is responsible for picking case carts with necessary supplies and instrumentation based on surgeon preference cards. They also assist with operating room turnover and provide support to surgical staff to ensure readiness for procedures.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to obtain CPR certification within 60 days. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required to ensure safe patient care and accurate documentation.
Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Core Technician to join our OR Team!
The Core Technician is responsible for picking case carts, both supplies and instrumentation. This position will work closely with clinical staff and sterile processing to utilize surgeon specific preference cards to make sure that each case cart is ready for the next day. Demonstrates knowledge of equipment, instruments, needles, procedures, and supplies used in the operating room. Assists with room turnover, retrieving supplies for the surgical staff, and other duties as assigned.
