Neurologist

Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking an experienced Neurologist for a position at Centrastate Hospital in Freehold, NJ

This is a per diem position

We are only consult we do not admit patients to our service.

Technically round and go however they are averaging 17 patients a day.

12 hours shift based on a 7a-7p model.

$2400 per shift Independent Contractor rate.

• As a Neurologist you will play a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles.
• Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes by providing comprehensive neurological evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.
• You will be responsible for staying current with advancements in neurology to apply evidence-based practices and innovative therapies.
• This role requires compassionate patient interaction, clear communication with families and healthcare providers, and a commitment to improving neurological health within the community.
• Ultimately, your work will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for patients facing complex neurological conditions at CSTMC.

Minimum Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited neurology residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of New Jersey.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in diagnosing and managing neurological disorders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fellowship training in subspecialties such as stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, or neurocritical care.
• Experience working in a hospital or multidisciplinary clinical setting.
• Research experience or publications in neurology-related fields.
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used at CSTMC.
