Facilitates the development of individualized Wraparound Plans for children with Serious Emotional Disturbance and their families. Coordinates services with agencies, schools, and community supports while performing clinical work primarily in home and community settings.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Guidance, or Psychology along with a valid Michigan LBSW or LLBSW credential. Candidates must have at least one year of clinical experience working with children and families and possess a valid driver's license.
$5000 Signing Bonus
Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, facilitates the development of individualized Wraparound Plans with families of children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) through the Wraparound process. Assists families in identifying and accessing resources, clinical treatments, and other services to promote the child/youth functioning successfully in the home, school and community; performs services as part of a Child and Family Team and in coordination with a wide variety of agencies and community supports including DHS, Family Court, and the schools; Performs services primarily in the home and community; performs related work as required.
License Requirements: Year(s) of Experience
Michigan Bachelor Level Social Worker (LBSW) credential, Clinical.
Will consider a candidate with a Limited License as a Bachelor’s Level Social Worker (LLBSW) credential, Clinical.
One (1) year of experience working with children, adolescents and their families in a clinical setting.
The employee with a Limited License must take and pass the ASWB Examination within six (6) years in accordance with the State of Michigan requirements to retain employment.
GHS will follow all state of Michigan requirements. If the requirements change, the job description will be updated to reflect such changes. All licensed clinical staff must maintain licensure as a condition of employment
Bachelor’s degree in a human service field (defined as Counseling/Guidance or Psychology)
Bachelor Level Social Worker (LBSW) credential.
One (1) year experience working with children, adolescents and their families in a clinical setting.
Employee must maintain valid licensure to retain employment.
Must complete DCH Wraparound Training.
Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and the use of a vehicle during work hours.
Complete and pass CAFAS/PECFAS training sustaining reliable rater status for assessment instruments.
Ability to physically perform the tasks.
Bargaining Unit: Teamsters flsa status: Non-Exempt
00 am- 5:00 pm; must have 5 hours available after 4:00 pm during the week.
