The registered nurse is responsible for delivering patient care and coordinating nursing plans according to physician orders and standards. They also direct and guide other members of the patient care team.
Candidates must hold a nursing diploma or associate degree and a valid Virginia or Compact state RN license. Additional requirements include CPR certification and obtaining ACLS certification within one year of hire.
A registered professional nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care for assigned patients on a specific shift worked. Coordinator of the nursing plan of care as well as carrying out physician orders and nursing standards of care using the nursing process. Also directs and guides other members of the patient care team.
