Key responsibilities include:
MAP (Medication Administration Program) certificationis required for this position. Candidates without current certification must be willing to complete employer-provided training and successfully obtain certification within 3 months.
Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization skills.
Implement Treatment Plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
Administer/supervise medications by MAP guidelines and document care.
Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.
What You Bring
High school diploma/GED; direct care experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility (bending, standing, etc.).
Strong communication skills (English) and basic computer proficiency.
Compassion, patience, and commitment to trauma-informed care.
Bonus: Lived experience or multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese).
