Provides occupational therapy services to patients under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to improve motor functions and daily living skills. Assists with patient and caregiver education while treating individuals with cognitive, psychosocial, or physical impairments.
Requires an Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is preferred, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
