The Medical Technologist is responsible for collecting and analyzing laboratory specimens while ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols. They also provide technical assistance and supportive patient care, including phlebotomy, EKG initiation, and vital sign monitoring.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science and possess a current BLS certification. Depending on the market, specific years of laboratory experience and relevant state licenses or clearances are required.
