We’re hiring a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) to join our dedicated behavioral health team in North Carolina. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you’ll provide evidence-based treatment to individuals struggling with substance use disorders, helping them achieve recovery and stability. This role involves direct counseling, case management, and collaboration with community resources to support long-term recovery. You’ll deliver services across community and clinical settings with a flexible, client-centered approach.
● Deliver individual and group counseling focused on substance abuse recovery and relapse prevention ● Conduct intake, screening, assessment, and treatment planning in accordance with best practices ● Provide case management, crisis intervention, and client education ● Maintain accurate documentation, records, and progress notes in compliance with state and agency standards ● Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical and psychiatric providers ● Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education activities ● Travel up to 25% within assigned service areas to meet client needs Required Qualifications ● Master’s degree in a Human Services field ● Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) ● Minimum of two (2) years’ experience providing substance abuse counseling ● Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
