The Occupational Therapist will independently evaluate patients and develop treatment strategies to maximize function in daily living, work, and leisure activities. They will provide interventions to address psychosocial, cognitive, and sensorimotor dysfunctions to enhance patient safety and performance.
Candidates must hold current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist and possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA or Red Cross. Inpatient rehabilitation experience is highly desired for this role.
Independently evaluates, determines the treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate and rehabilitate acute or prolonged, skill or ability that has not yet is impaired in order to maximize function in the areas of activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components. Interventions and procedures to promote or enhance safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL), instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), education, work, play, leisure, and social participation.
Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
