The Physical Therapist Assistant provides skilled physical therapy services in patient homes under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests, implementing treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and educating families on safety and equipment use.
Candidates must hold a current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of employment and have at least one year of experience in an acute setting. A valid driver's license and auto insurance are required to perform home visits within the designated territory.
