The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for assessing the nutritional status of patients and formulating effective care plans. They also provide nutrition education to patients and families while assisting in the development of hospital formularies.
Candidates must be a Registered Dietitian as per CMS requirements. One year of healthcare experience is considered desirable for this role.
�� Provides appropriate patient nutritional care.� Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness.� Provides nutrition education to patients/families.� Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population.
Education and Work Experience Registered Dietitian Required (CMS requirement).
