This position provides case management services and facilitates family orientation and quarterly gatherings for the Hope Project. The coordinator works to address risk factors, connects families with support resources, and ensures accurate data entry into electronic health records.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in behavioral health or a related field, along with at least two years of experience in mental health. Additionally, the role requires one year of experience working with families and the Alaska Native/American Indian population.
The goal of the Hope Project is to improve mental health outcomes for children and youth at risk for or with serious emotional disturbance (SED) and to bring new hope through its comprehensive and early intervention approach for the children, youth, and their families.
This position is responsible for providing case management services for project family participants (consumers). The position orients families to the Hope Project which leads the families to attend monthly individual meetings and facilitated group quarterly meetings.
