This is a great unit to grow your skills if your long-term goals include critical care. The Cardio Pulmonary unit offers self scheduling with only 3 weekend shifts (Sat OR Sun) per 6 week time block! Tuition stipend! $5250 per year Night shift differential! $9.00/hr (weekend) and $4.00/hr (weekday)
• What you will do: The Cardiac-Pulmonary unit at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital provides nursing care to a diverse patient population with complex health conditions. This unique opportunity affords building skills in telemetry, medically complex, and ventilated patient populations.
• Train for the following certifications:
• Telemetry
• Code blue
• ACLS
• Develop the following skills: Ventilators Trach care Peritoneal Dialysis Blood administration IV placement
• Wound care
• Bi-Paps and
• C-paps
• Reading telemetries
• What you will need: New York State RN License Associates Degree in Nursing. BSN Preferred Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while working in a fast paced environment Critical thinking and problem solving skills Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field Help patients get back to living their lives at Sunnyview!
