The Licensed Practical Nurse assists with patient care services under the supervision of clinic providers. They collaborate with clinical staff, patients, and their families while functioning within the scope of practice.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited LPN program or have completed requirements for licensure. A current Mississippi LPN license or temporary permit is required.
Under the supervision of the Provider(s) in the clinic, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for assisting with patient care services as delegated or assigned; and will function within the scope of practice according to the Mississippi State Board of Nursing. The LPN collaborates with all clinical staff, patients, and their families.
