The technician is responsible for receiving, cleaning, sterilizing, and distributing surgical instruments and medical supplies. They must also maintain and operate central sterile equipment while prioritizing tasks to meet organizational needs.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved Operating Room Technical School with certification preferred, or possess one year of on-the-job experience. A current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is also required.
