The Health Information Tech is responsible for prepping, scanning, and indexing patient records into the HPF system while maintaining scanning equipment. They also analyze records for completeness and perform general clerical duties such as retrieving electronic records for authorized requestors.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a Health Information Management (HIM) department is preferred.
