The Mammography Technologist is responsible for providing excellent patient care and performing high-quality mammography examinations. This includes selecting appropriate imaging techniques and efficiently communicating with radiologists and team members.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience as a technologist and must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Certification in mammography and current Arizona State Licensure are required.
Customer Service - Ability to provide excellent patient care, acting with professionalism and empathy at all times. Provide excellent patient care in a timely manner, communicate with radiologists and work efficiently with team members. Responsible for performing precise, prompt and high quality Mammography examinations. Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware, enters and monitors patient data. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks and works under general supervision. QualificationsRequirements: At least 2 years of experience as a technologist preferred Superior communication skills Excellent customer service skills, always putting the patient first Must be able to manage time in a productive manner within the guidelines of the department Qualifications: The applicant must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Must be certified in mammography, possess ARRT credentials and a current Arizona State Licensure Breast ultrasound experience helpful.
