The Mental Health Technician assists the nursing team in providing a safe environment for patient rehabilitation and responds to medical and psychiatric emergencies. They also supervise patients, document their status, and assist with basic nursing procedures.
Candidates must have a 24 credit Certification in Behavior Health or an Associate degree, with experience in drug/alcohol or psychiatric care preferred. A valid Pennsylvania driver's license and the ability to perform physical tasks are also required.
