The physical therapist is responsible for examining, evaluating, and developing treatment plans for patients with functional limitations and disabilities. They also provide consultation to healthcare providers regarding a patient’s continuum of care.
Requirements summary
A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Masters or Doctorate preferred. Candidates must have a Michigan State License in Physical Therapy and BLS certification, along with strong communication and computer skills.

Scope of Work Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction.
Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.
