In This Role You Will

• Prepares residents for the day or night as necessary by assisting with bathing, dressing, and activities of daily living. a. Provides privacy during resident care. b. Applies supportive devices, braces, hearing aids, etc. c. Ensures that each resident receives oral care twice a day and hair grooming at least daily.
• Provides non-medicated skin care which requires reading an assignment sheet, obtaining skin care product(s), and application to the skin. Reports unusual signs or symptoms to the charge nurse, director of nursing, and/or the health center administrator.
• Assists residents with the following activities: a. Turning and positioning in bed at least every two (2) hours. b. Getting in and out of bed c. Walking d. Getting in and out of a chair or wheelchair e. Getting on and off a toilet or commode f. Getting in and out of a full tub or shower
