The HIM Clerk is responsible for medical record analysis, indexing, and providing transcription support. They also act as a physician liaison and handle birth certificate processing and release of information requests.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in Health Information Management or a related field. An RHIT certification is preferred.
Analysis, indexing, suspension, physician liaison, birth certificate, ROI, transcription support, and other department support.
