The Clinical Technician assists Registered Nurses in delivering direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and performing clinical procedures like phlebotomy and IV management. They are also responsible for documenting patient status, supporting activities of daily living, and reinforcing discharge education.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to complete a mandatory 6-week training program. Additionally, obtaining American Heart Association BLS certification within 90 days of hire is required.
