The Certified Medical Assistant will assess and provide direct care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced clinic environment. Responsibilities include collecting patient data, documenting vital signs, assisting providers with examinations, and administering medications or immunizations.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid national medical assistant certification. A minimum of one year of related experience is preferred, along with a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
We are searching for a Certified Medical Assistant for the Float Pool at Texas Children's Pediatrics- Austin clinics -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will assess and provide direct care to patients in the patient care area in a manner developmentally appropriate for the ages of patients served (0 to 18 years) and adults as necessary.
