The Diagnostic Sonographer performs diagnostic procedures using high-frequency sound waves to assist in medical diagnosis. They are responsible for acquiring and evaluating clinical data while providing professional care to patients and their families.
Candidates must hold an American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification with a specialty in OB/GYN. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required to function effectively within a healthcare team.
