The Medical Laboratory Technician performs laboratory testing on patient specimens and assists in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. They are responsible for maintaining performance records, operating laboratory equipment, and ensuring all tasks are completed according to standard operating procedures.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a related science or an associate degree in an approved Medical Laboratory Technician program. Certification (NCA, AMT, ASCP, HEW, or CLA) is required within 12 months for those with an associate degree.

The laboratories of IU Health offer some of the most comprehensive laboratory services in Indiana! Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the laboratories perform more than 19 million tests a year. In addition to IU Health, laboratory testing services are provided to hospitals and physicians across the country.
Full-time, nights. 12 hour shifts. Days of the week will depend on location floating/covering. Needs to be flexible to working 3 days per week (typical) or 7 on/7 off when covering for Bedford.
